FOUNDER OF BON SOCIETY
LINDA DOOTSON
In a world that values both health and culinary innovation, Linda’s journey has been one of learning and adapting.
Her passion for food and nutrition began early in life. At an early age Linda began working at the Boulengerie Blanc in the French Alps. This experience shaped her belief in using wholesome, seasonal foods in cooking. Serving as a catalyst for launching her culinary passion, incorporating natural and clean techniques deepened her appreciation for fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Seeing the impact of sugar-heavy processed foods and poor nutritional options in schools motivated Linda to advocate for healthier eating by starting at the beginning stages of human development. She began experimenting with recipes to create desserts that are both tasty and nutritional for our bodies, hoping to make healthy eating more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Years of experimenting led her to develop desserts using natural sweeteners like dates and pureed fruits. Through Linda’s first book (Fantastic Cookbook of Futuristic Desserts) and her cooking show, she shares these recipes to help others enjoy sweet treats without compromising on health or indulgence.
Recipes like her Blackberry Tartlets and Owl Cookies are examples of her success creating wholesome foods by combining flavor with nutrition. The BonSociety movement emerged to prove that food can be both delicious and nourishing. With a bit of creativity, we can enjoy the best of both worlds.
Linda’s journey is about making small manageable changes that lead to a sustainable, healthier and more satisfying eating experience.
